Tekeria McCants-Townes (Keria) grew up on the South Side of Chicago, transitioned to the South Suburbs during her teenage years, and currently resides in Illinois. 

After working in healthcare for 5yrs as a Patient Access Specialist (Northwestern Memorial Hospital) Keria decided to transition to the Financial /Insurance Industry as a licensed Insurance Producer and Office Manager at The McCants Insurance Agency. Keria’s mother, who has been in the insurance industry for 20+ years decided to open her own insurance agency, but needed a licensed producer on board to open doors. Keria became licensed with her Property & Casualty license within 30 days and One Year later became licensed with her Life & Health License. The mother and daughter duo made it happen and are still thriving & pushing towards success. 

Keria now has her own business in the Financial Industry, Visions 827, which is designed to educate individuals about the importance of having their financial affairs in place while also providing financial services & products. Visions 827 will educate and advise millennials, parents/guardians about the importance of financial stability and creating financial wealth for themselves as well as their children. Visions 827 is crafted to shift the perspective of millennials, parents/guardians who are only thinking for the “Now” when it comes to their future or even their children’s future. Millennials, Parents/Guardians will be enlightened about the multiple approaches they can take when it comes down to the utilization of “Life Insurance & Financial Planning”.
